Happy Memorial Day!

This first picture is one of my favorites!! I actually think I love them all!!

This is DD's new patriotic outfit!

Birthday!

It is hard to believe that my little guy is 6 years old already! His Birthday was Thursday. We had cupcakes Thursday night and then had cake and ice cream on Sunday at Grandma's house after my softball game. Happy Birthday!

This is a full picture of the race car the boys got to sit in.

This is my 10 and 8 yo.

This is DH up on top of the Eagle Eye hill. The cars are lined up and just about ready to start the next race.

This is my 12 yo....he can actually see over the steering wheel.
We went to the qualifing races at Nelson Ledges Race Track on Saturday. A special Thank You goes out to Stephanie (Racechair) from SCS for the tickets and getting us in! Stephanie made the day really special for us! She gave the boys some really cool hats and posters and fans that they have been playing with obsessively since Saturday morning. She also took us around to see some of the awsome race cars and her friend Bill even let the boys sit down in his car. They were thrilled!!

This is my 10 yo.

This is my 8 yo.

This is my 6 yo up on his knees. He had so much fun. I am not even sure how many of the races the boys actually watched because they had so much fun running around the Eagle Eyes deck with a couple of other boys that were hanging around.

This is my 6 yo....actual size in the car. Who knows what he will run over he drives from that position!!

Here are the boys in front of a Corvette!

This is my 10 yo. He only played one round and then took a shot to the hand that hand him bleeding pretty good so he was done for the rest of the day.

This is my 8 yo. I think he had more fun than anyone.

This is the three boys all ready for action!

I just do not even know what to say about this picture!! I was trying to show DH how well the paintballs work in the slingshot and my 12 yo DS went and got the target we were shooting at earlier and held it up for DH to shoot at. I think after a couple times of DH shooting DS figured out that this was not such a good idea!!

OMG!! I have go to tell you all what I just did!! First of all let's just say "WHAT WAS I THINKING????"My 12 yo DS is going to a paintball thing tomorrow. Well, I had an old paintball gun in the garage from when I was a teenager (never used it though...much like some of my stamps.) So, I had DS pull it out last night to use it tomorrow....I picked up CO2 and some paintballs on the way home today so we could try it out tonight and then he could use the rest tomorrow. So, we took the paintball gun, BB gun, and the 3 sling shots out back to shoot at targets. Ok, well earlier I was asking DS "Is this going to be a capture the flag paintball thing or just target practicing?" He had no idea. So, I had to explain what capture the flag was...and that if you get it with a paintball I have heard that it hurts pretty bad. Boys! "Oh yeah sure it hurts." Not really believing me. "So, can I hit you guys when we get home then?"Get home....I shot of a couple rounds with the paintball gun at the target and then told the boys to "RUN!!" 12 yo and 8 yo RAN!! All the while laughing. 10 yo just stood next to me begging me not to hit him. Well, I got the 12 and 8 yo on the top of their arms. They were groaning and laughing and still running all at the same time after that. Then, I picked up one of the sling shots and figured out that you have really super good aim with a paintball in them bad boys!! I started out hitting the 8 and 12 yo with paintballs using the sling shots....so then they each picked up the other two sling shots and we were all three going after each other. THEN...my 12 yo got me right along the side of my upper thigh! HOLY CRAP!! It stung!! In the mean time I have got them a couple more times. THEN...my 12 yo got me again! Right on the collar bone on my chest! STUNG!! You know when something hurts so bad you just have to laugh! It hurt like heck!! I fell to the ground laughing so hard I had tears coming out of my eyes!! I actually have a big bruise now on my chest/collar bone.
DH just stopped and picked up two more face masks on his way home from work so we can play again. My brother has a paintball gun and sling shot too so I called and invited him to come up and paly sometime.
This is a picture of my bruise...and the picture is not really doing the pain justice!!
I am still laughing about it!

These are pictures of my 5 yo DS and my DH. We cooked burgers on the fire last night and then had s'mores. I think the kids could cook out every night! The kids and I spent a good portion of the day yesterday practicing up my softball skills. And man can my 10 yo old pitch!! And WOOHOO!! I can still hit!! I was amazed at how far the ball was going! I had to keep backing up because I was hitting it closer and closer to the neighbors house! I have joined my church's softball team for the summer. Our first practice is this Saturday and our first game is this Sunday!! I played softball all through school and then have not hardly touched a ball or bat in over ten years! So, it felt so good yesterday to be able to hit the ball again. My 8 yo was a saint yesterday and must have chased over 100 balls that I hit even after getting hit in the head by one because he could not get his glove on it just right! So, I owe him a big thank you!!:)
