County Fair!

This is 8 yo getting some help to do chin ups from a Marine Recruiter.
This guy was amazing!! He helped DD and DS do like 20 chin ups each and then got on and did his own chin ups!! He said he had been doing it pretty much all day! He had a hard time pulling out his last couple but he did it!!

RIDES!! The best thing about our local fair is the rides are included with the price or your ticket! So my kids get to ride as many rides as they want and it not break our wallet! It was so hot that day we could have just melted and the rides were in full sun of course and it was like 2 pm so we only rode for like an hour and then moved on to the inside buildings.
We all took turns taking baby girl down the slide! She loved it!

I had to take a picture of this homemade wagon! The cooler is on a trailer that is on a hitch on the back of the monster truck and the kid rides in the truck like he is driving it and then there is a handle attached to the front axle. It looked like it was a bear to pull around and park but it was super cool so I am sure it was worth the hassle! LOL!

The girls fell asleep on the way to the Fair. We stayed until the fireworks were over. We had a great time watching the Demolition Derby too!

Cow Hip!!

This is the cow hip bones that my 8 yo found down at Uncle Harry's and sneaked into the van to bring home! The boys HAD to bring the bones to church and show them to their Ranger classmates. I did not know they brought the bones home until we were on our way to church the day after we went to Uncle Harry's farm and my DH asked me "What were those bones on the front porch?" when he was on his way to work early in the morning. Ummm....what bones?? I looked back at 14 yo and asked him if they brought the bones home. He meekly pointed to the book bag that was sitting on the seat next to him and pointed!! The boys each had a set of bones in a book bag so they could take them to their respective classes to show them off!

Salt Fork!

After we went to Uncle Harry's we went to Salt Fork since he lives like 3 minutes out the main gate. Here we are at the main beach. The older boys were to far out in the water when I was taking pictures to get a clear picture of them. There was also a lady there that was doing 'trashthedress.com' pictures. That was neat!

Can you see the buoys in the background? That is how far out the swimming area went! Of course the older boys had to go all the way out there so no pictures of them!

Uncle Harry's Farm!

This is a calf Uncle Harry was bottle feeding!

8 yo eating a sandwich in the van.
Uncle Harry was showing us around his cabin.

The kids just love getting rides in the gator!
DD just loves to pose for pictures!
A cow tooth!

Cow Skull!
The kids were hiking out in the field and woods and found these cow bones and brought them back up. I didn't realize it until the next day that they had hid them in the back of the van and brought them home!!

Baby girl in the chicken coop!

Baby girl loves the chickens and goats! She is not the least bit afraid of them! Her favorite thing is going inside the coops! If we leave the top off any of the waters the baby gets right into them to splash around! She is obsessed with water!
